Bishop Ilgenfritz visited us today in order to Confirm 9 people from our congregation. Following the service we enjoyed a potluck dinner and some fellowship with the Bishop.
From left to right we have:
Top row: Mr. and Mrs. Follman, and Fr. Bob. Middle row: Susanna Dunlap, Jonathan Dunlap, Bp. Ilgenfritz, Josiah Follman, Samuel Lemmon and Lauren Follman. Front row: Conrad Martin and Maggie Hussey.

Surprise!
This past youth night we had a surprise birthday party for one of the boys. It was big hit among the youth... with pizza, cake and ice cream how could it not be a success! Of course a fire always tops the night off here in Kentucky. So we decided to test our burn pile size in preparation for the MSJ meeting in October. :)
The verdict was, even though you could feel the heat up by the church doors, it wasn't quite big enough. And perhaps we should add a few larger logs so that it will burn longer....
Once the fire had died down a bit the rest of our evening was spent playing games outside in the semi darkness using glow sticks to help identify the players.
....Now to get our pile built back up for October!!! :)
